Students from WCMS and WCHS represented Wilkinson County Schools at the May Day Festival in McIntyre today. The WCMS FCA Praise Dancers performed beautifully, and the WCHS JROTC led with pride and precision. Thank you to all who came out to support!

6th Grade Math (Jones) – Students expanded their understanding of the coordinate plane using peg boards to plot points with precision.
8th Grade Social Studies (Cabiness & Peters) – Students were empowered to take ownership of their learning through a Jeopardy-style review and accountable discussions.
8th Grade Science (Daniel & Peters) – Students excelled in applying Newton’s Laws of Motion, analyzing real-world scenarios and explaining their reasoning.

This is a great opportunity to connect with teachers, discuss student progress, and gain valuable resources to support your child’s success on the GA Milestones. This is an early release day.
