Competing in categories such as graphic design and 3D Modeling, we are proud of these students and their superb efforts, representing Wilkinson County Schools in an awesome way! Due to the possibility of ice accumulation/hazardous conditions on roadways that may impact student transportation and a large number of staff members that commute to our school, all Wilkinson County Schools and offices will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026.

The safety of our students and staff is our top priority. We encourage everyone to stay safe and remain aware of changing weather conditions. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this time.

We are closely monitoring the potential for severe weather this weekend and possibly into Monday. Recent forecasts indicate a wintry mix that may include rain, freezing temperatures, and snow in and around our area.

At this time, there are no changes to the school district schedule, as the forecast remains uncertain. We are actively working with local agencies and weather officials and will provide a detailed update as soon as more information becomes available.

Tomorrow will be an asynchronous learning day for all Wilkinson County Schools students. There will be no in-person classes. Students should complete the assignments that were sent home or are available online through their teacher’s platform. Staff will be available during regular school hours to provide support and answer questions. Thank you for your partnership in supporting student learning.
