☀️ FREE Summer Meals are coming back to Wilkinson County beginning June 1! Children ages 0–18 can receive free meals this summer through weekly meal box delivery sites and congregate breakfast/lunch locations across the county.
Meal pickup locations, schedules, menus, and additional details are included in the flyers below.
Wilkinson County Schools will operate on an early release schedule on Thursday, May 21, the last day of school. All students will be released at 1:00 PM. Please plan for student pickup and transportation accordingly.
We proudly welcomed students from Wilkinson County Middle School who recently competed in the Oconee RESA STEM Fair. Competing against neighboring schools, our 7th-grade team earned 1st Place for their outstanding project!
The trio of Cassidy Ammons (not pictured), Alexandria Kennedy (not pictured), and Kyian Whipple worked diligently to ensure their project stood out among the competition. Their hard work, creativity, and dedication truly paid off, and we are incredibly proud of their accomplishment.
Congratulations to these students for representing Wilkinson County Schools and displaying Warrior Pride in and out of the classroom!

What a "cool" way to end an awesome week! Dr. James visited our buildings with fruit-flavored slushies in tow as a small token of appreciation to our teachers and staff for the big jobs they do, daily! At last night's monthly board meeting, Dr. James proudly welcomed and recognized the following students for their dynamic representation of Wilkinson County Schools!
Ke'Shawn Hall- 2026 STAR Student from Wilkinson County High School. The STAR Student recognition is awarded to the senior with the highest SAT score at the school while also ranking among the top of the graduating class. This honor also allows the student to recognize a teacher who has made a significant impact on their academic journey. Ke'Shawn chose Ms. Ericia Colbert to stand alongside him! 👏
Gracelyn Cowart- 7th-grade student from Wilkinson County Middle School, for competing and being named a winner in the Young Georgia Authors Competition led by Oconee RESA. 💛
Hayden Collins- Wilkinson County High School Junior and basketball team member for being selected by the Georgia Basketball Coaches Association and the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association to represent our district on the All-State Single A Division II Basketball Team. 💙
