Wilkinson County Schools includes Asynchronous Learning Days in the annual school calendar to provide teachers and staff with dedicated time for professional learning while students continue their learning from home.

On an Asynchronous Learning Day, students do not report to school in person. Instead, they complete assignments, activities, or projects independently. Teachers will provide instructions and due dates in advance, and students are expected to complete all assigned work.

Asynchronous Learning Days may occur on different days of the week and are scheduled throughout the school year. Families can find upcoming dates on the district calendar and will receive reminders through school communications and the district app.
