Science in Action! 🧬 This week, Ms. Little and Ms. Brown took us on a journey through the levels of organization in living things—from the tiny cell all the way up to a complete organism (that’s YOU!). We learned how: ✨ Cells team up to make tissues ✨ Tissues work together to build organs ✨ Organs join forces in organ systems ✨ And organ systems make up an amazing organism Students got hands-on with activities, jumped into discussions, and tackled assignments that turned big science ideas into something we could actually see and do. Principal Choice had the pleasure of catching up with Aubrei today for a Warrior Walk (Check & Connect)! 🌟 Aubrei is an exceptional student who shines in the classroom and various athletic programs. She has perfect attendance, excellent grades, and an outstanding attitude. When asked about her academic success, Aubrei shared her three daily habits: ✅Check her grades daily in PowerSchool ✅Focus more on classes where she needs improvement ✅Actively participate in class to fully understand the lesson. 💙Sixth graders in Mr. Dillon’s math class shined today as they took turns leading the class through box plots—reciprocal teaching in action! 💛Students confidently used academic vocabulary, explained their thinking, and modeled the right questions to ask when solving problems. 💙With Mr. Dillon providing feedback and encouragement along the way, our mathematicians are truly growing as leaders and learners! #leadingfromthemiddle #bethebrand #warriorsatwork
