🍎 Science in Action! Ms. Little and Ms. Brown’s classes explored Apple Genetics, learning how selective breeding creates apples with traits like sweetness and color. Students analyzed traits, made predictions, and built creative 3D apple models to connect science to real life! 🍏🔬 #WCMS #BeingTheBrand #HandsOnLearning

✏️Ms. Franklin and Ms. Young are using a variety of engaging instructional strategies to help students identify an author’s bias and understand how it impacts the credibility of a text, while also exploring different perspectives on the same topic. ✏️Through tasks like “Strong Bias,” “Balanced but Distinct Viewpoint,” and “Two Texts on the Same Topic,” students are developing critical thinking skills as they analyze multiple sources. To close the lesson, students share one biased word or phrase from any task and explain how it affects the text’s credibility.
