Wilkinson County Schools is launching the Say Something Anonymous Reporting System (ARS) by Sandy Hook Promise, providing students and members of our school community with another way to speak up when they have concerns about safety.

The Say Something ARS allows individuals to anonymously report concerns involving threats, violence, bullying or harassment, self-harm, concerning social media activity, or other behaviors that may indicate someone needs help.

Reports can be submitted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year in three ways: through the Say Something mobile app, online at saysomething.net, or by calling or texting 1-844-5-SAYNOW (1-844-572-9669).

When a report is submitted, trained crisis counselors review the information and determine the appropriate next steps. Information may then be shared with school officials and, when necessary, local law enforcement so concerns can be assessed and appropriate support or intervention can be provided.

The launch is also about helping students understand the role they can play in keeping themselves and others safe. Through Say Something, students are encouraged to:

RECOGNIZE warning signs and threats.
ACT immediately and take them seriously.
SAY SOMETHING by reaching out to a trusted adult or using the anonymous reporting system.

Students should never feel that they have to decide on their own whether a concern is serious enough to report. If something they see, hear, read online, or experience simply does not feel right, we encourage them to speak up.

By giving students and our community another way to share concerns, Wilkinson County Schools continues its commitment to maintaining safe, supportive learning environments where students can get the help they need.

See Something. Say Something. Save Lives.
