At the recent Board of Education meeting, Superintendent Dr. Angela James recognized four Wilkinson County Middle School students who represented the district at the Oconee RESA Technology Fair held on Friday, January 23.
Students competed in design-based technology categories that required creativity, digital skills, and problem-solving. Two students earned second-place honors in their division.
Participants included:
Wesley Zanger – 6th Grade, 3D Modeling
Alexandria Kennedy – 7th Grade, Graphic Design (2nd Place)
Kai Simmons – 7th Grade, Graphic Design (2nd Place)
Aubrei Miller – 8th Grade, Graphic Design
Participation in the Technology Fair encourages students to apply classroom learning in innovative ways while developing real-world technology skills. Wilkinson County Schools also recognizes Mr. Whipple for his guidance and commitment to supporting students as they designed, created, and showcased their work.
