We’re excited to share that Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Heart of Georgia is now actively serving youth and families right here in Wilkinson County! BBBS creates and supports one-on-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of young people.

What does that mean for our community?

Local children now have access to positive role models who can encourage, support, and guide them through fun, meaningful connections—whether through sports, school-based visits, or community outings.

Available Programs:

• Sports Buddies:
  6-month commitment; includes a sporting event + one additional connection monthly.
• School-Based Mentoring:
  1-hour sessions each week during the school day, throughout the school year.
• Community-Based Mentoring:
  2–4 outings each month or 4–6 hours of connection time monthly; 1-year commitment.

Who Can Get Involved?

• Parents/Guardians can apply to get a mentor for their child.
  Youth Application
• Adults who want to make a difference can apply to become a Big Brother or Big Sister.
