Student Health Services
At Wilkinson County Schools, we believe that healthy students are better learners. Our Health Services program is dedicated to keeping students healthy, safe, engaged in school, and ready to learn.
Our school nurses work closely with administrators, teachers, counselors, social workers, families, and community partners to support the health and wellness needs of every student. This collaborative approach helps identify individual needs, provide timely care, and connect families to additional supports and resources when needed.
In addition to on-campus nursing services, Wilkinson County Schools partners with ParentGuidance.org to offer no-cost mental health resources for parents and families. These resources are available now and are designed to support students’ emotional well-being during times of stress or transition.
We are also preparing to open a School-Based Health Center in Irvington, which will expand access to health services for students. While the center is not yet open, enrollment is currently underway to help us prepare to meet student needs when services begin.
By addressing both immediate health concerns and long-term wellness, our Health Services program strengthens the educational process—helping students stay engaged in class, succeed academically, and develop healthy habits that last a lifetime.
Our commitment is simple: healthy students today become strong leaders tomorrow.
Mental Health Resources for Families
Student well-being includes emotional and mental health. Our district partners with ParentGuidance.org to provide no-cost mental health resources for parents and families.
These resources are available now and offer guidance, education, and support to help families navigate stress, challenges, and everyday concerns that can impact student success.
