Public Notice: Proposed Changes to Graduation Requirements

The Wilkinson County Board of Education is considering proposed changes to Board Policy IHF(6): Graduation Requirements. These changes are required to be posted for 30 days prior to adoption and are now available for public review.

What's Changing?
Updates to the graduation policy include changes to:

  • Minimum units required to participate in graduation

  • Early graduation restrictions

  • New financial literacy course requirement (Class of 2028)

  • Revised class rank and honor graduate determinations

  • Pathway and course requirements

All proposed updates are marked in red in the policy document for clarity.
