Finance Department
The Wilkinson County Schools Finance Department is committed to managing district resources with transparency, accountability, and integrity. We support the district’s mission by ensuring sound financial practices that promote long-term stability, responsible stewardship, and full compliance with state and federal regulations.
Our purpose is to provide clear financial guidance for day-to-day operations, support planning and decision-making, and maintain open communication with all stakeholders. We strive to deliver accurate financial reporting and responsive service to schools, departments, and the community.
The department safeguards the financial assets of the district by upholding internal controls, adhering to board policies, and following generally accepted accounting principles and standards set by governing authorities.
