Wilkinson County Schools will observe an Asynchronous Learning Day tomorrow. Students will complete assignments provided by their teachers, and there will be no in-person classes.

Parent-Teacher Conferences will still take place from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and we encourage families to attend and stay connected to their child’s progress.

As a reminder, Spring Break begins next week. We hope our students, staff, and families enjoy a safe and restful break.

We are seeking your feedback regarding a potential consolidation that would combine our current Pre-K–2 and grades 3-5 into one school. The current elementary school will become grades 6–8. The "new" primary elementary school was built for 800 students. Current enrollment in Pre-K-5 is 471 students. Current enrollment at the middle school is 184 students.

Your input is very important and will help guide future planning and decision-making.

Thank you, Oconee RESA, for introducing us to the Lit, Love, Read campaign, a Georgia-based literacy initiative that ran from February 4th to March 6th, aimed at boosting students' reading skills through the joy of daily read-alouds.
