Overall Proficiency Growth - Grades 3-8
9% average increase in students performing at Developing and Above across all tested content areas.
Districtwide Growth at a Glance
This year, students in grades 3–8 achieved a 9% increase overall in proficiency (students scoring Developing and Above). Growth was seen in every subject tested:
English Language Arts (ELA): 6% increase (Developing and Above)
Mathematics: 7% increase (Developing and Above)
Science: 20% increase (Developing and Above)
Social Studies: 10% increase (Developing and Above)
High School Spotlight – American Literature
At Wilkinson County High School, students continued steady growth on the American Literature assessment — a key graduation requirement in Georgia. Over the past three years, the percentage of students scoring Developing and Above has consistently increased, reflecting stronger preparation in reading, writing, and critical thinking skills.

Primary/Elementary (Grades 3–8):
ELA Progress: +7 points
Math Progress: +21.68 points
Middle School (Grades 6-8):
Closing Gaps measures how well we are supporting all groups of students so every child has the chance to succeed.

High School (Grades 9-12):
The Overall CCRPI score is like a school report card that combines progress, achievement, and readiness, showing families how well our schools are preparing students.
Overall CCRPI: 74.9% — a 14.7% increase from 2018–2025
Progress: 100; Mathematics growth exceeded state targets.
