Wilkinson County Schools proudly celebrated its 2024 REACH Scholars during a special Signing Day ceremony. This year's honorees, Samantha Pru Kennedy, Akylan Reeves, Jordyn Pennington, and Daverie Walker, took a significant step towards their futures by committing to the REACH Georgia Scholarship Program.
REACH (Realizing Educational Achievement Can Happen) Georgia is a needs-based mentorship and college scholarship initiative designed to ensure that Georgia’s academically promising students achieve post-secondary success. The program provides scholars with academic and social support throughout high school and guarantees financial assistance to pursue higher education.
During the ceremony, our four scholars signed their commitment forms, solidifying their dedication to achieving their academic goals. Family members, teachers, and district leaders were present to celebrate this monumental milestone.
Each REACH Scholar will receive mentorship, guidance, and resources throughout high school, ensuring they are equipped for college and career success. Wilkinson County Schools remains committed to fostering a culture of academic excellence and supporting students in their pursuit of higher education.
