Wilkinson County Schools is integrating Apptegy's tools to enhance communication. Apptegy, a leader in K12 digital communication, offers custom apps and websites designed for modern engagement. By migrating our platforms to Apptegy, we're improving how students, employees, and parents stay informed. This shift will create a more cohesive communication experience, benefiting everyone in our district.

Here’s what you can do with the Wilkinson County Schools Apptegy app this year:

  • Receive updates via email, text, phone call, or app notifications.
  • Choose how you receive updates: instantly or in a daily digest at 6 p.m.
  • Communicate in your preferred language for convenience and inclusivity.

This system ensures timely and effective communication across the entire school community!

Mobile app

Wilkinson County Schools has launched a new mobile app powered by Apptegy, available for free on Apple and Android. This app streamlines important information, including cafeteria menus, news, calendars, and live updates. It allows users to customize notifications from any of WCSD’s campuses or the Central Office. The app also features staff directories, athletic events, and directions. We’ll monitor app engagement through download analytics and feedback, and encourage everyone to share input on its performance.

ALERTS

For years, Wilkinson County Schools (WCSD) used the OneCall Now system, but we are transitioning to Apptegy’s ALERTS system. ALERTS can send messages across various platforms, including text, voice, social media, websites, and apps. WCSD families and employees will soon receive SMS alerts from the short code 98900. Administrators will easily send customized messages, such as specific grade-level notifications, via the Thrillshare mobile app. This transition will streamline mass communication, integrating seamlessly with our new websites and mobile app.
