Welcome and Welcome back to Wilkinson County Middle School!
On behalf of the Wilkinson County Middle School staff, I am ecstatic to welcome you to the 2022-2023 school year. I hope that you have had plenty of time for relaxation and rejuvenation. By focusing on building positive school culture, setting high standards for academic performance, increasing academic expectations for all students, and engaging the community, it is our goal that all students are college and career ready. It is my absolute honor and pleasure to serve this community as we work together to continue the important work of educating students. While the previous two years presented many challenges, we conquered and rose to the occasion as a Warrior family. We will continue to work together despite the adversities we all may face.
Welcome to the Warrior family for those new to the school! You are joining a school dedicated to serving the needs of our students. For our returning students and families, I look forward to continuing this journey with you. I encourage you to explore our website, like and follow our Facebook page, and stay up to date on your emails, as these platforms will be our primary forms of regular communication.
On a personal note, I have been committed to shaping students' lives for over 15 years. I served in the capacity of teacher and assistant principal before becoming the principal of Wilkinson County Middle School. As I begin my third year, I am excited to unite my experience, openness to learning, and my child/student-centered approach to support our students. Because the relationships between families and the school are vital to the success of our students, I encourage you to become involved in every way possible.
My first goal is to ensure a safe, educational environment for all students and staff. My passion drives my work. As the principal, it is crucial that everyone who steps into this building is excited to be here. With that said, my door is always open. Our staff is eagerly committed to showing you how much We C.A.R.E. (Compassionate, Adaptable, Resilient, and Effective)!
